How online groups and influencers can be used to promote misleading investment schemes. These patterns are indicators for careful checking, not a way to determine a specific person’s conduct without evidence.

Popularity does not establish legitimacy

Follower counts, testimonials and screenshots can be manipulated or paid for. Check the firm and the person making the offer through independent records.

Private groups can increase pressure

A chat group may create an illusion that many people are earning returns. Participants may be coordinated or fabricated.

Pause before transferring

Do not rely on a link or wallet address posted in a group. Verify the opportunity and payment route independently.

If a payment has already been made, contact the relevant provider using its official contact details and preserve the original records.
