Checks that may help distinguish a genuine provider from an imitation. These patterns are indicators for careful checking, not a way to determine a specific person’s conduct without evidence.
Verify the domain and application
Use official app stores and links from the provider’s verified site. Search independently for warnings and check the legal entity and jurisdiction.
Be alert to withdrawal conditions
A service that displays a balance but demands repeated payments before withdrawal may be fraudulent. Do not pay more simply to test the claim.
Protect credentials
Never disclose a seed phrase or private key to support staff. Contact your bank and any genuine exchange used if funds were transferred.
If a payment has already been made, contact the relevant provider using its official contact details and preserve the original records.
