Common claims and payment patterns in fraudulent digital-asset investment offers. These patterns are indicators for careful checking, not a way to determine a specific person’s conduct without evidence.

Returns may be fabricated

A dashboard or statement is not proof that assets exist. Check wallet and exchange records independently, while recognising that blockchain data does not identify a person by itself.

Transfers may be hard to reverse

Blockchain transactions are generally not reversed by a central operator. Contact any exchange or payment provider involved quickly and keep transaction identifiers.

Recovery claims need scrutiny

Do not disclose wallet recovery phrases or private keys. Anyone asking for them can take control of assets.

If a payment has already been made, contact the relevant provider using its official contact details and preserve the original records.
