Fraud response draws on careful research, financial analysis, digital evidence, clear writing and considerate communication. Work in this area requires curiosity balanced with restraint: a lead must be checked, a conclusion must match the evidence, and people affected by fraud must be treated with respect.

Relevant disciplines

Experience may come from financial investigation, forensic accounting, blockchain analysis, open-source research, cyber investigations, legal practice, victim support, journalism or public-interest research. Different roles require different qualifications and safeguards.

Working standards

Accuracy, discretion, ethical information handling, transparent limitations and realistic expectations are central. This page describes the disciplines relevant to the organisation; it does not advertise vacancies or invite recruitment applications.
